Today Not-for-Profit/Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) have emerged as cognizant rational actors within the national and the international development discourse. The dynamic rise of this sector and the impact that it has created on myriad of social and developmental issues across the world, has led to emerging field of study about the role, scope and desirability of governance. With the increase in philanthropic contributions there is a greater need and expectation for transparency and accountability in fund utilization and overall operation of the NGOs. Moreover, with the changing global scenario this sector is confronted with new challenges of varied forms which demand practice of good governance. ‘Run an NGO’ is an attempt to involve brains of management students from across the country in solving challenges faced by these NGOs in functioning or in making an impact.
