OperAce (Flagship: Operations)
Business leaders are more and more concerned with the level of complexity, the adversity of disruption and risk their businesses face in today's VUCA world of chaos, especially as operations and supply chains have become more globally connected.
In this journey, you will have to assess this adversity, its consequences, and present your understanding of how to navigate through the potential challenges by keeping a solution-oriented approach where volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity can be embraced.
The event would comprise of three rounds
o The first round would comprise of an online quiz
o Evaluation would be solely on the basis of Quiz scores
o The top teams would be shortlisted for the next round
o Top teams from the first round will be given a series of 4 mini case studies one after the other with some specific time allocated to each case study.
o The top 8 teams from this will proceed onto Round 3.
o Round three will be the grand finale of OperAce (On Campus)
o The top 8 teams will have to present the case study in front of a panel which will judge the submissions and declare the final winners.
o The jury would be a mix of dignitaries from the industry and academia.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
o The event is open to students from all B-Schools.
o Participant in a team should be from the same institute and no participant can be a part of more than one team.
o The team can be from 1st and 2nd year.
o Teams should comprise of minimum 2 and maximum 4 members.
o Only one entry would be allowed per team for the competition.
o No change in the team structure is allowed after the team is registered.
o The teams will be shortlisted after round 1 and informed individually.
o Details of Round 2 will be uploaded after announcement of results of Round 1.
o The teams getting shortlisted for Grand finale will be informed individually.
o Participants are requested to like the Facebook Page and join the event for regular updates.
o The decisions of the Judges will be final and binding on the participants. The Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change at any time without specific notice. The amended Terms and Conditions of entry will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website. It is the sole responsibility of the teams to regularly visit the website to read any changes.
